The LS 36.5 is designed to offer the next level of performance and refinement in the MWI product line, taking the musical preproduction from the organic to the sublime.

In addition to improved aesthetics, internal components include ModWright's own custom designed MWI capacitors and 6H30 Russian Super Tubes.  The circut used is an optimised variation on the 'Mu' stage circuit type developed by Alan Kimmel.  Great attention is paid to the art of grounding and shielding, resulting in black backgrounds and exceptional micro and macro dynamics.  Bandwidth is extended and critical listening completed to produce an organic and live sound.  Greater balance across the frequency extreme and ease to the musical presentation allows the listener to further immense themselves in the musical experience.

The LS 36.5 includes a 5AR4 tube-rectified power supply with dual discrete solid stage regulation and custom MWI capacitors.  This results in improved soundstage, liquidity and holographic imaging without compromising bass, high frequency extension or dynamics.

The use of high-quality Lundahl transformer coupling allows for a 4 x lower noise floor, fully balanced outputs, phase switching and better impedance matching with all amplifiers due to a solid 110 ohm output impedance.  The addition of XLR inputs and balanced outputs give greater system flexibility.

Those wishing to take the performance of the LS 36.5 to the next level again, have the option of adding the PS 36.5 dual-mono, all-tube external power supply. This PS 36.5 features a complete dual-mono topology, including dual tube rectifiers and tube voltage regulation circuitry.
